Vision
2-1-1 Colorado has become the social utility for the people of Colorado. Community members all across the state understand that 2-1-1 is the first and best place to get information on how to give or get help from health and human service organizations.
The end user is our first priority. No one in need feels alone and helpless. Our customers also include service providers, the business community, policy makers and more. All recognize and utilize this valuable resource. 2-1-1 is the "go to" place and is synonymous with community. It's the first place people call, contact, or think of for health and human services. 2-1-1 is a mobilizing force in every community in Colorado. No matter what the issue or circumstance, the community calls on 2-1-1 because we understand the needs, the available resources, the gaps and successful strategies.
We are leaders in recognizing, quantifying and making the case for addressing community needs. As a statewide collaborative we are able to effectively and efficiently address statewide, regional and local needs, while informing and effecting national policy and funding. 2-1-1 is now such a part of our communities that it is not uncommon to overhear someone asking, "Can you imagine life before 2-1-1?" |
