My Free Taxes is a service of the United Way and is a great option if you want to file your taxes yourself. The online platform will guide you through every step and make sure you get all the cash-back tax credits you are eligible for.
You will need access to a computer and a valid email address to use My Free Taxes. The average tax return usually takes about an hour.
Snap a picture of your tax documents, upload images to the secure site, then get matched with a tax professional who will call you to file your return remotely. Great for filers who do not have access to a computer, but do have access to a smartphone.

A cash-back credit worth up to $7,430 available to working individuals and families.
Eligibility for EITC depends on several factors such as filing status, income level, the number of qualifying children in the household, and citizenship.
